Elizabeth's Firsts

Elizabeth had a few firsts herself… she has “accidentally” stood on her own a couple times. You know, when they’re propped up on a table or other support and let go to handle something fascinating… and – voila – for a brief moment, they’re standing on their own! Of course, she lands on her knees once she notices what’s going on, but it’s a start! On Saturday, she had her first taste of pure white, bleached flour bread. (I know, nothing to be proud of really, but it’s a first, nonetheless.) For those of you who know Pizza Marzano in Budapest – and their delectable dough balls – you know what a treat that is. That yummy experience led to another first the next day… her first stinky poopie! (She’s been eating veggies and fruits for almost two months now, with minimally offensive results.) At this rate, she’ll be walking and talking in no time!
